The course will provide an overview of the proper elections procedures for condominium and homeowners associations and will go into detail on the applicable sections of the Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Code, as well as related arbitration decisions. It will address the timing of association elections, the determination of the proper number of Board Members and Board eligibility, notice requirements, the proper submission of Votes and Voting Certificates, the suspension of Voting Rights, Board Member Certification, potential security measures and alternative election procedures, and the use of voting machines and on-line voting.
