is intended to provide licensed property managers and Board Members with a detailed overview of the most recent and significant changes in community association law. The statutory changes discussed affect both condominium and homeowners' associations, and will include: prohibitions against directors and managers from offering or accepting kickbacks; estoppel letter requirements; removing directors charged of certain crimes and reinstatement if charges are resolved without a finding of guilt; prohibition from association attorneys representing management companies; limiting director ability to purchase units at foreclosure sale; allowing renters to inspect records; deleting certification process for recalls; and other substantial changes. We will also discuss recent court decisions which affect the daily operation of community associations. Space is limited so please register early.
